It’s tryout time for Acalanes High School’s Co-Ed Sideline Cheer JV & Varsity Squads. It takes a lot of heart, training and conditioning, but it's a lot of fun. We’ll have a 5-Day Tryout Training Week, with Friday Tryouts. Starting Fall 2019, Sideline Cheer will be fall season only, following the JV / Varsity Football regular season schedule. (Don’t worry, exciting changes happening for Basketball season.)
We love our Freshman! Ask your classmates to try out so we can have a full Freshman squad!
Maybe you love the team spirit but don't just want to cheer? We also need Yell Leaders, Gymnasts, Dancers, Mascots.
For partner stunts, we need male athletes that can dead lift twice their weight. Did you know 50% of college sideline cheerleaders are MALE?!
Due to the safety requirements and costs of the sport, completed Sideline Cheer Tryout Packet and Mandatory Parent Meeting are required to participate.
