MINI DONS SUmmer CAMP

Who's in the house? Mini Dons in the house! — The Acalanes Sideline Cheer, Dance Song Pom & Competitive Sport Cheer Teams are leading their 5-Day summer training camp! Incoming Middle Schoolers 6th-8th will learn precision cheer skills adjusted to their skill level, technical terms in the sport of cheer, along with novice stunting techniques. K-5th new and returning Mini Dons will learn and build upon Sideline Cheer & Dance Song Pom Skills. And let's not forget our growing Yell Leaders & Mascot option for grades 4th-8th! Campers will close out the week with an epic, all-camp performance & competition day!

EARLY REGISTRATION WILL HELP FUND AHS CHEER TEAM'S SUMMER TRAINING & SEASON EXPENSES. Best of all, our high schoolers build leadership, mentoring, planning, operational and organizational skills sharing the sport they love!

FOCUS DESCRIPTIONS:

ALL PROGRAMS  participate in base fundamentals of Cheer & Dance.

MIDDLE SCHOOL  adds Novice Stunting and Mid-level Cheering

YELL LEADERS & MASCOT FOCUS   It’s all about crowd participation: Leading audience chants and game cheer responses, plus, practice revving up the crowd. Our team ambassadors get to learn a bit of everything, dance or cheer, and ham up the experience!

**REGISTRATION STEPS—WE'VE MOVED REGISTRATION ONLINE!**

For online registration, you'll need: 

• Digital picture of your Mini Don
• Insurance information
• Emergency contact information
• Waist and chest measurements for uniform sizing
• Once registered, you'll need the Team Snap Order # provided.

STEP 1 — REGISTER ONLINE for 2019 Mini Dons Summer Camp through our TeamSnap portal all the way through checkout. Select the OFFLINE PAYMENT icon and then continue until online registration is completed.

STEP 2 — PAY PROGRAM COST.

• (a) TO PAY ONLINE WITH CREDIT CARD — This must be done through the Acalanes ASB Store Cheer Page. For Student ID use "9999999". TeamSnap# is your registration ID# TeamSnap assigned at checkout. Note 6/10: Online payment is back up.
• (b) TO PAY BY CHECK — Make check payable to AHS CHEER. Mail or drop off proof of TeamSnap Mini Dons Camp registration + check to Acalanes High School main office: 1200 Pleasant Hill Road, Lafayette, CA 94549.

STEP 3 — LET US KNOW PAYMENT WAS MADE. 

• (a) ONLINE WITH CREDIT CARD — If you paid online, upload a PDF or JPG to your TeamSnap profile or forward proof of payment or to ahs1cheer@gmail.com 
• (b) BY CHECK — Paid by check? Email us to let us know so we may verify with the school. Don't forget to mention your Mini Don's name and TeamSnap#.

**School offices are closed mid-summer. Make sure to get the TeamSnap online registration completed so we know to expect your Mini Don. **

The Acalanes High School Mini Dons Cheer camps and clinics are hosted and funded by the Acalanes Cheer Program.

We're limiting numbers in each category to have more focused time with our Mini Dons! Our High School Dons will be arriving back from their summer training camp and can't wait to share their ideas with you!
